Roselle Public Library presents Casual and Competitive Chess!

Every week on a Thursday, there will be either chess club (casual) or competitive chess (USCF-rated). Casual chess will also be available during compettitive chess games. Please check the Roselle library calendar in case of Holiday closing.

2R G/40; d5 (one game per meeting); accelerated swiss-system or 1-2, 3-4 pairings. 

Pairings may be adjusted at Tournament Director (TD)’s discretion.

We will post results every month, so 2 rounds [TD discretion]

Meeting will begin at 6:45pm in Meeting Room A and B, and games will begin at 7:00pm. Sets and clocks will be provided.

Prize: Free competitive chess games held in a welcoming atmosphere.

Events are free and open to players of all ages and skill levels. Non-library patrons are welcome. Children under the age of fourteen must be accompanied by a parent at all times.
