I started in chess, like most Tournament Directors, being a chess parent. After a few years my child wanted me to get more involved. After a short amount of time I have been fortunate enough to work many tournaments. I’ve been hired by some of largest, and most prestigious, organizers both locally and nationwide. I have done gambit from Chess central to floor TD to section chief for nationwide US Chess tournaments. I scored 95% on my local TD certification test for US Chess.
